I am a Computer Science major and Cybersecurity minor at UTRGV, currently working as an Information Security Analyst Intern Level 2 at the university's Regional Security Operations Center. My work includes monitoring for threats, investigating alerts within EDR and NDR tools, and assisting with vulnerability management. I am actively training for the CompTIA Security+ exam and building hands-on experience through Hack The Box and TryHackMe.
Previously, I spent about a year as a Network Security Intern at Sharyland ISD, working with firewalls, vulnerability assessments, Kali Linux, Wireshark, and SentinelOne. I am early in my career and always looking to learn, problem-solve, and connect with others in the field.
